Like the subject of my most recent work, I am butterfly, rapidly changing direction and focus in my choice of techniques, adapting my work as it progresses and working with whatever inspires me at the time.  My work is all about texture and sculpture.

I have taught City & Guilds Textiles for many years and I'm passionate about keeping the art alive for future generations.  Whether stitching of a functional item or designing and producing of a piece of art, I  want as many people as possible to share in my enjoyment of working with textiles and learning of the wonders of the art. 

Textilia 3 are an inspirational group of artists who provide encouragement, inspiration, friendship, but most of all - deadlines.
