 I am a Mixed Media Artist producing textile based works of Art.

In my recent work I explore how heat and bonding manipulate fusible fibres, raw fleece and felt, wool tops, silk and remnants of fabrics, creating layers and surface texture.

My work has deep rich colours, fibrous textures, layers of shimmering iridescent Angelina and Crystalline fused fibres, anything with a sheen or shine.

I work back into the pieces using a variety of hand embroidery stitching and free machine embroidery using different threads and stitches. The pieces are also adorned with an assortment of embellishments including sequins, buttons, beads, and text, using words to represent my thoughts or feelings.
